Many pet parents struggle to find sitters who can handle anxious, reactive, or fearful dogs. That’s exactly what we do best. Whether your dog has extreme separation anxiety, is a nervous rescue, struggles with reactivity, or simply needs extra patience and understanding—our experienced team knows how to provide the calm, consistent care they need to feel safe while you’re away.
With our range of services including Dog Walks, Drop-in Visits, and In-Your-Home Overnight Stays, we ensure that your furry little one can stay in their own home with pet sitters who truly understand their needs.
As an animal lover with 20 years of combined personal and professional experience, I’ve worked with dogs of all temperaments—from the anxious and fearful to the calm and confident. We’ve also cared for cats, birds, bunnies, guinea pigs, chickens, and even pot belly pigs! But our true passion? Helping the dogs who need us most: the nervous, the reactive, the senior, and those who’ve been turned away elsewhere.

Pet Services
We understand the importance of a good healthy walk that’s full of sniffs—especially for anxious or reactive dogs who need a patient, experienced handler! Chasing Tails Pet Sitting provides daily dog walking visits in your neighborhood and at your dog’s pace.
Dog walks are perfect for anxious dogs who need solo walks, reactive dogs who do better without other dogs around, senior dogs who need a slower pace, or any pup who just loves their daily adventure!
Choose from a 30 minute or 60 minute walk that includes a walk, play time, waste removal, refresh of food and water if needed, and extra belly rubs! All walks are performed in your neighborhood at your dog’s comfort level. There is an additional $20 charge for all major holidays.

If you work long hours or just can’t make it back home in time to let your dog out or feed your cat, reserve a Drop-In visit! Ideal for anxious dogs who need consistent check-ins, senior pets who need medication or extra monitoring, or cats who prefer their independence.
Choose from a 30 or 60 minute visit that includes a potty break, play time, refresh of food and water if needed, medication administration if needed, and extra belly rubs! A popular service for cat owners who need cat care, but do not need an overnight. Also great for anxious dogs who do better with multiple short visits throughout the day. There is an additional $20 charge for all major holidays.

Reservations are booked as 2 extended visits from 5p - 8p and 7a - 10a the next morning. Great for dogs with mild separation anxiety who do well with evening and morning care. Includes home security, plant watering and mail pickup at no additional charge! AM and PM services must be booked together. If only one timeframe is needed, the rate will be for the full total of an Almost Overnight stay.

Are you heading out of town but need your pet taken care of while you’re away? Book an in-your-home overnight stay! With this service, we will take care of your adorable pet for as long as you’re away!
Overnight stays are excellent for anxious dogs who need overnight presence, senior pets who need monitoring, or any pet who’s happiest in their own home. They will be happily fed, played with, and taken out for walks and potty breaks according to their unique needs and comfort level.
Regardless if it’s for just one weekend or several weeks at a time, we will handle any of your pet care needs so you can embark on that vacation or business trip without added stress!

24-Hour Overnight Stays
Our Premium Service for Dogs with Extreme Separation Anxiety and Special Needs
Reservations are booked from the time you leave for vacation to the time you come home. We work as a team to stay in your home 24 hours to care for those with extreme separation anxiety, senior dogs that need round-the-clock monitoring, reactive dogs who need experienced handling, or any pet requiring intensive care.
If your dog has been turned away by other sitters, struggles with severe anxiety, or needs continuous supervision—this is the service designed specifically for them. Includes home security, plant watering and mail pickup at no additional charge!
Limited Availability
Due to the intensive logistics of 24-hour team coverage (requiring continuous presence without leaving your home), we only accept a limited number of these reservations each year. Please inquire early about availability for your dates.

Chasing Tails Pet Sitting does not charge per pet and a free Meet and Greet is included for first time reservations. Additional select services are provided at no cost during the visits such as plant watering and mail pickup, however you may be charged with other services (i.e pet taxi to the groomers or doggie daycare, lawn care, etc.).
